In addition to this, one student achieved a grade 9 in GCSE Art, the highest grade that can be achieved.
Martin Gray, Assistant Headteacher, said, “We are incredibly proud of the outcomes achieved by all our young people, but especially the attainment of our Year 11 students this summer. The results are testament to the ability and hard work the pupils put in to preparing for exams, but also to the quality of teaching and support our young people receive from all the staff at Newcastle Bridges School.”
Kevin Stafford, Headteacher, commented “This is an amazing achievement by our young people who have had so much to contend with in recent year as they prepared for their exams. They have been extremely well supported by the staff in the school and given the confidence to achieve so much. I wish all of them every success in the next stage of their journey.”
