Gilbert Ward Academy Celebrate Outstanding Attendance

Last term, staff at Gilbert Ward Academy were thrilled to recognise the incredible effort of tutor group 3JVH for achieving the highest combined attendance across all of their tutor groups. To celebrate this accomplishment, the group enjoyed a special celebratory breakfast, complete with hot sandwiches prepared by the school's dedicated catering team.

It was a moment of togetherness, music, and well-deserved recognition, with members of the senior leadership team joining in to mark the occasion.

This celebration is part of Gilbert Ward Academy's ongoing commitment to promoting and rewarding excellent attendance. In addition to their weekly assemblies where 100% weekly attendance is acknowledged, they also hold a weekly draw for an Amazon voucher for pupils who maintain perfect attendance.

The school believe in the power of teamwork, and this achievement is a shining example of pupils supporting one another to reach a common goal. Gilbert Ward Academy are continuing to strive for success and look forward to more celebrations like this in the future.
