BackRobert McDonald, Vice Chair and Trustee, has over 25 years of clinical and managerial experience gained across the private, public and third sectors.
Robert has specialised in implementing strategies with the objective of propelling companies to market leadership, while delivering value-adding solutions to drive growth, profit and the promotion of a positive organisational identity. He has extensive governance experience at both Executive and Non-Executive Director levels, gained across several regulated sectors including healthcare, housing, criminal justice, schools and colleges, significant operational and strategic management expertise at national, regional, local levels, reporting to Boards of Trustees, Board of Directors covering care homes for older adults, adults with mental health issues, independent hospitals, talking therapies, supported living schemes and was a Registered Mental Nurse for over twenty five years in a range of settings with competency in clinical governance and active registration.
Robert is a Chartered Manager and Fellow of Institute of Management and has significant experience of working with the CQC regulations and as nominated individual. He also serves as a governor for Harton Academy.
