Pearson National Teaching Awards Winner
Return to Latest NewsProsper Learning Trust are absolutely delighted to share that Helen Thompson, a Higher Level Support Assistant at Harry Watts Academy, has been ‘Highly Commended’ in the Pearson National Awards for Teaching Assistant of the Year. Helen is one of only 8 people nationally to win this award, which she was nominated for by both parent/carers and colleagues in her school.
Helen started at Harry Watts Academy in September 2021 as a Learning Support Assistant, before being promoted to a Higher Level Support Assistant last year. Working predominately across the Engage Pathway, Helen has consistently demonstrates an exceptionally high standard of support to all pupils, staff and also families.
