Thomas Bewick School Receives Tesco Stronger Starts Grant

Thomas Bewick School is delighted to have received the Tesco Stronger starts grant. Two members of Tesco staff visited the site to present the £1500 cheque to Thomas Bewick.

The school was nominated by Andrew McGuiness, and they intend to use the money to purchase a range of healthy snacks for the pupils.

The Stronger Starts scheme supports thousands of local community projects and good causes, particularly schools, voluntary organisations, and valuable projects in order to provide food and support to young people.
