Harry Watts Academy Harraton Site’s School Ground Regenerated by Volunteers
Return to Latest NewsOver the past few weeks, the outdoor areas at Harry Watts Academy’s Harraton Site have been redeveloped by volunteers.
The Automotive Energy Supply Corporation (AESC), who are manufacturers of the electric batteries for Nissan cars, have a community initiative programme and around ten volunteers have dedicated their time working on renewing the school’s grounds and outdoor learning facilities for the pupils to use.
The AESC volunteers have worked hard to freshen up the outdoor areas and learning facilities by repaint fences, restructure planting beds, restoring the shed, creating playground games on the yard, installing new wall decorations, and producing a caterpillar planting bed made from old tyres.
We would like to thank the AESC volunteers for their generous efforts to help transform the school’s outdoor areas to create a more fun and engaging area for pupils.
